Extruded sheet for cold storage

Extruded sheet for cold storage is an insulation material developed for cold storage low temperature, high humidity and high load environments. It has the characteristics of efficient insulation, moisture and freezing resistance, strong load-bearing property, environmental protection and durability. It is a key energy-saving and structural material in cold storage buildings. The following is a detailed introduction from aspects such as core performance, application scenarios, advantages and characteristics, and technical indicators

  • 1. Core performance and functions

    1. Super thermal insulation

The thermal conductivity is low, which is much lower than that of traditional insulation materials (such as polystyrene board). It can effectively block heat transfer inside and outside the cold storage, maintain the low-temperature environment inside the warehouse, and reduce refrigeration energy consumption.

The closed pore ratio is as high as 99%, forming a tight honeycomb structure and reducing heat loss caused by air convection.

    2. Moisture-proof, freeze-resistant and water-resistant

Low water absorption, dense surface, low water vapor permeability coefficient, can withstand the high humidity environment in cold storage and avoid the loss of thermal insulation performance after the board absorbs water.

Excellent freeze-thaw resistance. In a low temperature environment of-18 ℃ to-30 ℃, the structure is stable and not embrittlement, and it is not easy to crack or deform after long-term use.

    3. High compressive and load-bearing capacity

High compressive strength (≥300kPa, some models can reach more than 500kPa), can withstand the cargo load on the floor and roof of the cold storage and the walking of people, and is suitable for directly being used as a ground insulation layer or load-bearing layer.

The plate has good size stability and is not easy to sag or warp due to load or temperature changes.

four, construction key points and precautions

    1. base treatment

Ensure that the construction base surface is flat, dry and clean, free of oil stains, loose particles, etc., to avoid affecting the bonding effect.

    2. Paste and fix

Use a special adhesive to fully adhere or spot adhere, and the splicing of the plates should be closely adhered, with gaps ≤2mm, and filled with polyurethane foaming agent.

During wall construction, anchors need to be used to fix it (especially for high-rise buildings) to enhance the ability to withstand wind loads.

    3. Construction of moisture-proof layer

Steam insulation films need to be laid above the ground insulation layer, and joints on the walls and roofs need to be sealed (such as butyl tape) to prevent water vapor from penetrating.

    4. fire prevention measures

If combustible (Class B2) extruded board is used, the surface needs to be covered with fire-proof mortar or fire-proof board to meet fire-fighting requirements.

    5. finished product protection

Avoid striking sharp objects after the completion of construction, and the ground insulation layer must be poured with a concrete protective layer (thickness ≥50mm) in time.

Extruded panels for cold storage solve the defects of traditional insulation materials in low-temperature environments by optimizing material properties, and are an important guarantee for energy conservation and efficiency improvement in the cold chain industry. When selecting, it is necessary to combine the specific needs of the project, and comprehensively consider indicators such as insulation, load bearing, and fire prevention to ensure long-term stable operation of the cold storage.
